Question: What is the zoning in the Military Recreation Facility (MRF) Project Area?
Answer: Properties within the Military Recreation Facility are “zoned” or governed by a Master Development Plan. Single-family homes must comply with the MRF Standards and Guidelines, as well as the pertinent HOA Design Guidelines, CCR’s, International Building Code and Fire Codes. Question: How do I obtain a permit, such as a land use, grading, or infrastructure permit, within the MRF Project Area?
Answer: If your project falls within the MIDA land use control area and need to begin the process to obtain a land use, grading, or infrastructure permit, please contact Hilary Venable at hvenable@midaut.org for instructions and onboarding.
Question: Are there available affordable housing options in the MRF Project Area?
Answer: Yes. To apply for an affordable housing unit, email operations@piochevillageparkcity.com.
Question: What is the timeline for my residential building application to be approved?
Answer: Once you submit a completed package to Wasatch County Building Department for a one to two-family dwelling or townhome building permit, all parties have 14 days to review and approve. If the application has been rejected by an approving body, the timeline will start again once the application has been updated. Refer to Utah Code 17-36-55(3).
